ABOUT ME

Words are just that, and art is power.
I've always known I had an artistic talent since I was a child. I was always proud and happy when my classmates came to me and asked for my assistance with drawings, design, and decorating. Then it turned into a hobby. My parents would bring me store-bought inexpensive coloring materials and books that would help me grow. In high school, I began to explore art as a hobby. I enrolled in an art class that teaches us how to draw and paint portraits. I've met artists who have helped us grow and shown me how art can move, change, and inspire people.
I studied Bachelor of Multimedia Arts at Malayan Colleges Laguna. My parents were against it, but I mustered the courage to tell them that I wanted it. My major was graphic design, so I could improve my talents in layout and design. A pandemic occurred, and I decided to stop because the online program was not working for me. Furthermore, the tuition is very expensive, it would be a waste of money.
Go for it as long you have the opportunity.
My advice to everyone who wants to pursue art but has been unsure or unable to do so. If you view this as a future career and a significant part of your life, go for it while you still have the chance. Never believe that there is no money in art because there is art everywhere you look. There is advertising, music, film, photography, and production, among other things. There are several work opportunities available in this field. Another option is to go freelancing after school and start your own production house. You can also study again, take a master's program, and then teach.
Courage and self-esteem are essential in this field, particularly in our country, where art is undervalued. You must have faith in yourself and your art. Regardless of what others think, keep practicing and improving yourself. For words are just that, and art is power.
